The Kitchen
The cottage consists of a fabulous open plan lounge/ kitchen directly overlooking the river to the rear and the beautiful arches of Ingleton viaduct at the front. The open plan was purposely designed so the outstanding view across the river could be enjoyed from the minute you walk through the door.
The kitchen is very well equipped and modern, including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, double electric oven with a combination hob, washing machine, plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and all the crockery you will need. We also supply all the basic washing up utensils including washing up liquid, dish washer tabs, cloths and teatowels for your stay.
The Lounge
The open plan lounge boasts a mesmerising log burner for those cosy nights (complement basket of logs provided in season) a comfy corner sofa and a smart TV where you can log on to all your favourite streaming services and catch up channels. There is also Wi-Fi throughout the cottage with a download speed (according to Plusnet) of 16-22Mb at peak time. The lounge opens out onto a large patio/dining area directly overlooking the river.
The Bedrooms
Sleeping 4 people across 2 bedrooms, one at the rear overlooking the river with a king size bed, and the other double room with a double bed enjoying the fabulous sunset view through the arches of Ingleton viaduct from the front of the cottage. The Garden
The garden is a fantastic space looking right over the river, and is just one of the main highlights of the cottage. There is an outside area, for alfresco dining in the warmer months on the top patio, and a smaller seating area at the bottom of the garden which is an amazing place at anytime of the day. If it's breakfast, coffee or a G&T in the evening, just listening to the river and the wildlife is a relaxing way to start or finish your day. The garden is enclosed but please be aware when booking for small children and pets that the fence is 2’ high overlooking the river and the garden is terraced.
There is private parking for one car at the front of the cottage and free on road parking if needed nearby.

One well behaved dog, other circumstances will be considered by arrangement, please do not leave dogs unattended in the cottage.
We do NOT have a fire guard or stair gates. There is a door at the bottom of the stairs and a door guard available.
We do have a travel cot, please bring your own bedding and we have a high chair.
The garden fence overlooking the river is 2 foot high with a 7 foot drop down to the river bed, please be aware of this when booking for young children. Children must be supervised in the garden at all times.
No electric car charging from the cottage as there are plenty of EV charging points within a few minutes' walk of the cottage.
The cottage is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly, there are thresholds to step over both at the front and the back of the cottage. There are 4 higher than average steps leading down to the bottom patio, with a hand rail. Both bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor, accessed by stairs with hand rail. The shower is over the bath.
